A naturally sweet, earthy and slightly nutty tea with robust notes of honey and apple, this wonderfully light and refreshing summer anytime tea truly represents positive hope for the future, with the stunningly-beautiful Blue Cornflower as the blend's vibrant standout herb.
What makes this tea so special?
In some cultures, Blue Cornflower is seen as a reminder of the fullness of nature's life cycle, making it's annual appearance alongside White Chrysanthemum during the month of May. Both Vitamin C and A are found in high concentrations within Chrysanthemums, and both Vitamins are crucial for immune health.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, both the Chrysanthemum and Blue Cornflower are considered herbs that are 'Cool' by nature, meaning they help dispel excessive and/or stagnant heat in the body; hence the use of "Cool" in this tea blend's name! These flowers also serve as a strong foundation for a tea to drink on those hot summer days.
To complete the Red, White and Blue underlying color theme, supporting our aforementioned floral herbs in this tea blend are the globally famous herbs African Red Rooibos and Honeybush; in fact, Red Rooibos and Honeybush are cousins within the same family! Both Caffeine-free, these teas pack quite a powerful punch of antioxidants, while also being a source of some unique polyphenols; together, these protective compounds work in our bodies to help protect us against free radicals! Free radicals can cause damage that leads to conditions like diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.
Contains 2.5 ounces / approximately 14-16 Tablespoons or 26-28 teaspoons
Directions: Add 1 - 2 teaspoons of the tea blend to 8 oz of hot/boiling water. Let simmer for 15 to 30 minutes. Allowing the tea to steep longer in the water and/or increasing to tablespoon serving sizes will make your tea stronger. Only increase to tablespoon servings when your body is comfortable consuming 1-2 teaspoon serving sizes.
Ingredients: Blue Cornflower, White Chrysanthemum, African Rooibos, Honeybush, Organic Dried Apples. All dried herbs have been certified organic & kosher.
Directions: Steep 1 tablespoon in 8-12 oz of hot water for 5-10 minutes before drinking.
