The Tea House Renovation Update: 10 Days of Transformation!
We are officially 10 days into The Tea House renovations, and the transformation has been nothing short of incredible! The vision for this space is coming to life faster than we could have imagined, and we’re beyond grateful for the hands that are making it happen.
A More Open & Versatile Space
One of the most exciting updates is how we’ve reimagined the main retail space and tea house room. We’ve removed a counter, middle island, and prep station to create a truly open, adaptable environment. Whether it’s our everyday tea lounge setup, hosting workshops and classes, or clearing the space entirely for group yoga, meditation, tea ceremonies, and community gatherings—this renovation is setting the stage for something special.
Shoutout to Jim & Philomena Vida & Their Incredible Team
None of this progress would be possible without the dedication and expertise of Jim and Philomena Vida, who have been leading the renovation efforts. Their team of hardworking professionals has accomplished in just 10 days what would have taken others weeks—a true testament to their skill and commitment. From structural changes to finishing touches, their efficiency is allowing us to bring The Tea House to life at an amazing pace.
The Legacy & Ancestors Wall: Honoring the Past, Building the Future
Another major milestone is the framing of our cooler wall, which will also house our Legacy & Ancestors Wall. This wall will tell the story of MICOPEIA, my pioneering herbalist mentors, the rich history of tea, and the generous individuals who have contributed to our GoFundMe campaign. Every donor, no matter the amount, will have their name added to this sacred space—ensuring their contribution is forever a part of The Tea House’s foundation.
